His work started in publicity in 1988 at UCLA. He has received a UCLA Distinguished Alumni Honor in 2008 for his professional and community accomplishments. Has been exhibited and permanently archived at the Long Beach Historical Society and the same works published in the "One Project" Book.

 

In 2011, his trade show booth design was recognized by the International Salon and Spa Expo at the Long Beach Convention Center to be one of the best of show, among the likes of Vidal Sassoon and American Crew.

 

In 2018 he received a Merit Award from the PPA’s (Professional Photographers of America) International Photographic Competition and was exhibited in the 127th Annual Exhibition at the Georgia World Congress Center, in Atlanta Georgia.

In 2018 He also received a Silver Davey Honor from the AIVA (Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts) for Corporate Identity-Package Design in the Design/Print Category.

In 2019 he again received a Silver Davey Honor from the AIVA for Photography and Design in the Design/Print Category.

In 2020 he received a Gold & Silver Davey Honor from the AIVA Design in the Design/Print Category and Photography Category.

Before starting CNNV, Inc. he was trained in cosmetic, health and beauty manufacturing working in the industry for over a decade, which allow him a wider perspective than your average designer/photographer, creating photographic imagery used for portraiture, multi-media campaigns, advertising, trade exhibitions, and event gatherings.
